By nature, horses would prefer to do things their own way, regarding humans and their training efforts as a bit of a bother. Natural Horsemanship training is a gentle way of moving a horse from resisting your will to gladly accepting it. It begins on the ground, in the interplay between horse and trainer in a round pen. Gradually, the horse comes to eagerly welcome the challenge of working with you.
This training is not about what I can do with your horse - it's about what I can teach you to do with your horse. |
