Phil Rogers grew up in Cashiers, N.C. on his family's horse and cattle farm where he still lives today.
At a young age, he decided to be a cowboy, and has never lost sight of that dream. In high school he started riding in rodeos and worked on some ranches out west.
When his bones started complaining he happened to meet Ray Hunt at a clinic. He liked his ideas and soon after that he began using some of the techniques he learned which led to the idea of training horses himself. His weary bones approved!
Phil started his own training of horses in 1994. After studying the skills of natural horsemanship style of training, he conducted his first public clinic in July, 2001 and constantly continues to expand his knowledge to help people gain a better understanding of horses.
Phil says, "I am very proud of my work and want to continue
learning and teaching how to have a better relationship between
you and your horse - naturally. I hope to see you at our next
clinic... the door is always open." |
